In addition to being a major psychological issue, narcissism, in my opinion, is a significant spiritual problem as well. The narcissist stays disconnected from their true and authentic self for decades, creating a void for evil—a space that is taken over by dark energy, which then influences their behavior and overall personality. When I say dark energy, I am specifically referring to evil spirits or demonic entities. Some of you may not believe in any of that, which is also fine. You might prefer to understand this concept in the context of multiple personality disorder or inner splitting—how the narcissist has different inner evil splits that inform their decision-making process and control various facets of their narcissistic personality.
Today, we are going to talk about a rather fascinating and intriguing topic: Five Demonic Spirits Behind Narcissism. I know it is quite controversial to discuss, as many people do not like to understand narcissism in that context. Nevertheless, we are going to dive deep and explore narcissism from a different perspective to see what possibilities arise when viewed through the lens of spirituality. Let’s begin! If you do some research on narcissism and its relationship with demons, or even evil and the devil himself, one of the first things that might come up is Jezebel’s spirit. This is the highest-ranking and most clever demon in the devil’s army. This spirit is associated with manipulation, leading people astray, control, egotism, and rebellion—all traits that parallel the narcissist’s personality. It makes sense why many believe the narcissist is possessed by such a spirit. This is not to say that the spirit is the cause of the narcissist’s actions, but it certainly exacerbates them.
As I said earlier, you have the liberty to think of this however you like. If you don’t believe in demons, you might see it as the narcissist harboring a dark part of themselves—a shadow that has become their reality. But for those who do believe in Jezebel and similar demons, it’s important to note that narcissists are definitely influenced by this kind of entity. Narcissists have their own agency, which they have given up. They have closed themselves off from God or the universe, allowing this spirit to take control. The Jezebel spirit manifests itself in five different forms, each controlling various aspects of the narcissist’s personality.
Let’s start with The Enchantress, the first demonic spirit.
This spirit encourages the narcissist’s insatiable thirst for ultimate power and strength, which they gain through exploitative means. The Enchantress makes being exploitative seem like a sign of intelligence. Whenever a narcissist deceives, lies, cheats, or betrays, they feel good about themselves, and this feeling is magnified by the Enchantress whispering, “This makes you feel great, do it more!” The narcissist’s own desires fuel the strength of this spirit.
The second spirit is The Green-Eyed Demon, which encourages revenge and envy.
It feeds the narcissist’s feelings of greed and jealousy, leading to constant dissatisfaction. Why does the narcissist always crave new things? Their vessel has a hole at the bottom, preventing them from ever feeling fulfilled, no matter what they acquire. This spirit also buries the narcissist’s conscience under layers of justifications and lies, making it easier for them to envy others and chase more.
The third spirit is The Fog of Chaos.
This spirit induces confusion and binds the narcissist to the harm they cause. Narcissists are aware of the pain they inflict, but they don’t care. While psychology explains this as a lack of empathy, spiritually, the Fog of Chaos deepens their connection to harm, making them the living embodiment of destruction. Over time, they stop caring about the consequences of their actions and even find joy in causing pain. This sadism is magnified by the presence of this spirit.
Next is The Harsh Critical Judge, which reinforces the narcissist’s grandiosity.
This spirit constantly tells the narcissist that they are superior, keeping them trapped in a bubble of self-delusion. This illusion of superiority prevents them from forming meaningful connections with others, leading to loneliness. They are stuck in a false belief of greatness, only to realize later that they are their own worst enemy.
Finally, we have The Silver-Tongued Spirit, which allows the narcissist to deceive and manipulate with ease.
This spirit enables them to present themselves as normal, even charming, despite their immoral nature. It helps them manipulate professionals—judges, police officers, therapists—making it seem like they are the victim, not the perpetrator. This spirit casts an illusion over others, allowing the narcissist to weave a web of lies and deceit, influencing people’s perceptions and distorting reality.
Many believe the narcissist is like a Trojan horse for these demonic spirits, with some even going so far as to say the narcissist is a demon in human form. What do you think? Let me know in the comments, and share your experiences. Have you ever sensed dark energy or evil associated with a narcissist in your life?
With that, we conclude this episode. I hope you found it insightful and different from the usual content I share. If you did, let me know in the comments and share this with others. I’ll talk to you in the next one, and as always, let the healing begin and continue.
