If You Do This, Narcissists Will Leave You Alone and Stay Away From Your Life

Narcissists prey on those they perceive as weaker, and they won’t stop until they get what they want. It’s as if a switch flips in their minds, and they sense “blood” when they’re denied something. From that point on, it’s game over. Some narcissists enjoy the pursuit more than the outcome, so they’ll stop at nothing to get what they desire. Their phony sense of superiority convinces them that they deserve and can achieve anything they set their sights on.

Narcissists continually crave the impossible. So, why might a rejected narcissist never return, and why is that a good thing? It doesn’t matter who ended things; some events can drive them away forever or make it hard for them to reach out again.

Making a U-Turn

While it’s not always the case, sometimes narcissists make a “U-turn” and try to come back into your life. However, their return depends on the relationship they had with you, whether as a love partner, friend, or family member. Regardless of who they are, the choice to let them back is entirely yours. Covert narcissists, in particular, tend to avoid conflict and will steer clear of anyone who knows their true nature and isn’t afraid to call them out.

Labeling someone a narcissist isn’t the point; what’s important is recognizing their lies and manipulation. When a narcissist is questioned about their dishonest behavior, they become defensive and hostile. They’ll avoid being seen with someone they deem unworthy or who threatens their carefully crafted image. If someone sees through their façade, it’s game over for the narcissist.
