They’ll continuously ask invasive questions, pretending it’s out of concern. In reality, their goal is to gather as much information as possible. They may also approach mutual friends or acquaintances to dig for more details, using relentless curiosity to uncover insights about your life.
5. Direct Monitoring
Narcissists may employ more blatant methods to keep tabs on you, such as physically tracking your movements. This could involve appearing at your workplace, attending social events you frequent, or even lingering around your home.
At times, they may enlist the help of acquaintances, including friends or family, who act as informants under the pretense of caring for you. These individuals report back to the narcissist, feeding their obsession with control and information.
