Narcissists are inherently self-centered, making them deeply dishonest. They act purely on instinct and desire, often unaware (or unconcerned) about the consequences for their partners. Their only responsibility, as they see it, is to ensure their own satisfaction, regardless of the situation. Their insatiable desire for power and control drives them to deceive others.
No matter how much devotion or compromise their partner offers, narcissists are never satisfied. They seek constant validation and new sources of excitement, viewing relationships as a means to fulfill their own needs.
3. They’re Bored Easily and Seek New Excitement
Narcissists have a low tolerance for boredom. Once they’ve secured a relationship, they quickly grow tired of it. They lose interest in their partner’s offerings, yet they often hesitate to end the relationship because it still serves as a source of entertainment.
Instead, they seek alternative sources of supply, pursuing new conquests to keep themselves entertained and inflate their ego.
