This constant mental chaos can make them appear “spaced out,” as they’re often lost in their thoughts. To cope, many narcissists turn to spiritual practices like yoga and meditation, which help them focus and clear their minds.
Narcissists and Insomnia
This overthinking is a significant reason why some narcissists suffer from insomnia. They struggle to calm their minds and relax. Their thoughts jump from one topic to another, replaying the same events.
Even when they do fall asleep, it might only be for a few hours. Before long, they’re awake again, repeating the cycle.
This lack of sleep can affect their partners as well. Some narcissists will deliberately disrupt their partner’s sleep, either by starting arguments or engaging in activities that keep them awake.
